Janie's Place is easily accessible by air from Angouleme/Cognac, Poitiers, Limoges or La Rochelle. You are just 28 miles north of Angouleme/Cognac (flights Tuesday and Friday), and 50 miles south of Poitiers, where you can fly any day of the week. Or you can take the TGV, changing at Lisle or at Paris.
Travelling south on the N10 motorway, at the first exit south of Ruffec you will immediately see a Chambres d'Hôtes sign across the mini-roundabout, and 500 metres further on look out for the corner house on the left. (If you find yourself driving past the 'Mairie' on the right, you have gone a hundred metres too far.)
